He'll have to grow into this one, but he was excited regardless.

After the kids did their Santa stuff, Kenny's sister's and their families came over for breakfast and more presents. The kids got spoiled of course. (Thank you everyone) It was a fun time spent with family. Later on Kenny and I did gifts, and my wonderful husband surprised me with this!Meet the newest member of our family, my very own digital SLR!
I was so excited when I saw that box, I cried, and I don't even think I can blame it on the pregnancy hormones! I couldn't believe he had done that. He knew how bad I had wanted one. It was so sweet of him! Love you honey! I have been trying to become more knowledgeable in photography and I am so excited to have a camera to play with. I have so much to learn, I haven't ventured into manual mode yet, but hopefully soon I can start getting the hang of how this thing works. So here are a few of my subjects.
Hopefully by the time this little one comes I can have things down a little better so I can take some fun newborn shots. So if I am not blogging, it's because I am studying!

YEAH! I'm so excited for you! If those are your first shots I can't wait to see what's to come. They're so cute. I love the cheeser that Landon is doing.
I wish we could have gotten together. But I didn't get my hopes too high, we usually don't all find time...but that's what happens. love ya

I just wanted to say thanks so much for the carseat advice. We ended up getting the Evenflo Triumph Advanced and, so far so good. The reviews were great and the price was right. Sam looks like she's sitting in a little recliner! She likes it sooo much better than her carry one. Thanks!!

Looks like you had a fun Christmas! i'm jealous of your camera! How fun! Tons of my friends here in Dallas are way into photography and a lot of them have started businesses! I love the picture of Landon riding his bug bike thing! So cute! Can you believe that Kaden is almost here? Only 6 1/2 more weeks! I can't wait!!
