The Name Game

Naming your children is tough stuff! I am running out of boy names, so here I am asking for your help. We have a list of some possibilities but I would like to keep finding some more. So give'em to me! Of course I don't want the names you plan on using, but maybe ones you like that you can't use for whatever reason. Who knows, maybe I'll give a prize to the winner! My only stipulations are: it has to flow with Jackson and Landon, it has to be at least two syllables, it must be a boys name only, and we are considering Kenneth for a middle name. Is all that too much to ask? So, please help me out! Oh, and we don't name our babies till they are born, we go to the hospital with a couple options and then decide, so you won't know until then.

I know it's not here to stay....

But I was loving the weather today! It wasn't toasty warm by any means but we were actually able to go on a walk and play outside a little bit today, without snowclothes! The sun is melting all the mounds and mounds of snow and I am very ready for spring. The kids as well as I, have felt cooped up for too long. I know it only February and it is going to snow later in the week, but I am enjoying this while I can. Anyone else ready for blossoms and green grass?

Doing much better

Sorry I haven't updated on Landon, for those of you asking. He is doing much better! I think I can say that we are back to normal! I think we caught it just in time before it got worse. So, thank you for all the thoughts for my little buddy.

My morning...

Jackson was sick Sunday so Kenny stayed home with the boys while I went to Church. When I got back Landon was starting to get sick also. My poor Jack was so miserable all day, but come Monday morning he seemed to be doing so much better. Still had a cough and runny nose but definately wasn't as out of it. But then Landon seemed to be right behind him. Of course, being Landon everything is multiplied by 2. So he seemed twice as sick. Tuesday his cough was sounding pretty rough and I was almost positive I could here some wheezing in there. Wednesday, all he wanted was to sleep all day, he was completely lethargic, had me a bit worried I must say. He hardly cried, hardly ate, just layed there. I tried Wednesday to get him into the doctor after our ultrasound since it's in the same building but they were double booked and couldn't fit him in at all. So I had my doctors appointment today at 9:15, and Landon's doctor could see him at 10:15. Left my house a little after 9:00 this morning, both kids in tow. Nothing eventful at my appointment, heartbeat, blood pressure, pee in a cup. The Doc did change my date though to the 27th instead of the 23rd. I guess four days won't kill me. I think in the hour and five minutes that I was there I saw the doctor for 3 of those minutes.
So we make our way down to Landon's appointment at 10:20, meanwhile he is in the stroller almost completely out of it. Long story made very short, Two hours later we walk out the door with three prescriptions, and a nebulizer order. So I guess we are joining all the RSV'ers. Never had to deal with this in our house until now, so I guess we can be considered lucky. He had one albuterol breathing treatment at the doctor's office and surprisingly he just sat there for the first bit, then of course he got sick of the mask on his face and was attempting to rip it off. Jackson thought it was all very cool, and was waiting for his turn. Since we've been home Landon is actually starting act more alive. Ate some lunch and played for a bit. Which I am very happy about. It is so scary to have your kids sick like that! All in all I am so glad I followed my motherly instincts and took him in instead of shrugging it off as a common cold. If any RSV experts have advice I am willing to take it.

The Results Are In!!

Did I keep you all waiting? After a not so cooperative baby the verdict is in. And after all those votes, I must say that the majority of you are....WRONG!!! We are adding another cute little boy to our bunch. The other ones are pretty darn cute so I don't see anything wrong with another one! We are very excited and it is nice to know what I can shop for now, because we all know that that is one of the funnest things about pregnancy. Everything looks great and he's got all the important parts in working order. I was kinda bummed that we didn't get very good pictures though. My other two we got some great profile shots and could really see the baby but this little booger was being camera shy. I may just have to get some 3-D ones done. Thanks for all the well wishes and for caring so much!

Halfway there!

I am officially at my halfway mark! This pregnancy hasn't been too bad so far. My sickness has gotten better with each pregnancy, and my tiredness has gotten worse. I am finally starting to feel a small burst of energy. I am feeling the baby move quite a bit lately which can be comforting, but also a huge stress, when you don't feel them move. Kenny got to feel it too, which is always exciting. We have our Big Ultrasound on Wednesday, and I am so excited to see the little stink! Here's to hoping we have a healthy cooperating baby! So check back Wednesday afternoon if you are interested to know what we are adding to our family. I have added a poll in the sidebar, so go ahead and let us know what you think.
