Birthdays, Sledding, Haircuts and randomness

I'll try to throw this all into one post. Things are busy around here. I am just very ready for sicknesses to be gone, and to have sunshine!! Isn't this weather wonderful!
Kenny celebrated his 32nd Birthday on March 4, so the boys and I went to visit him at work and take him a cake.


That weekend we went up Logan Canyon sledding with some of my cousin's kids. Jackson had a blast on the tube. He did not want to stop. What a good sport my cousin Ryan is on the bottom.



Tuesday Bryson got his first haircut! He doesn't have much but it was out of control. I did this on purpose but this is pretty much what it looked like every time he woke up.

And here is the randomness. I got a new backdrop a couple weeks ago so I had to hurry and try it out. Here are my willing participants. I snagged Jack from playing if you couldn't tell.

On the mend

Wow it's been a while! I have some pics to post but for now I am on the mend from loosing 5 these bad boys,

Valentine and Birthday sweets

Just thought I would share these fun little treats. I got them from my friend Kylene. Who found them -> here. <- When I saw them, I just had to try! They were fairly easy and so cute! This is what Jackson's little friends in his preschool got for their Valentine.
And when I ran out of sticks I just did some little hearts.
And of course I mentioned my mother had a birthday, we headed to Logan on Saturday to spend Valentines Day and deliver this to my mom. She loves the bling, So I made her a bling cake!


And the birthday girl with her cake. Funny story, my aunt gave her that shirt and picture frame for her birthday, and then I show up with the cake. Matchy, matchy! We got quite the little chuckle. We must know my mom well.

It was a fun Valentine's weekend. My sweetie gave me a 3 hour trip to the spa! A facial, pedicure, and massage! Woohoo! And I assume that means he watches the kids while I go. Thanks honey I love you!

The Karate Kid

Jackson started taking Karate a few weeks ago and yesterday he had his first belt test. He is now the proud owner of a yellow belt! Way to go buddy! We are so proud! I was in such a hurry to get out the door, (what's new) that I forgot my camera! Luckily my sister-in-law Kristina had hers in her bag. Thanks Kristina, I think I would have been very disappointed had I not had any pictures.

They retire their old belt by tying it on their head .

Jackson's cousin Austin was so excited to come watch Jackson.

My mom, grandma, and sister-in-law with her kids came down for a little birthday celebration for my mom! After Karate, the girls went to lunch and shopping, while Kenny stayed home with all the boys! Thanks honey!

Happy Birthday mom!! You are the greatest!

A new discovery

This is what I came in the room to see,

It's a good thing we finally got around to lowering his crib down. He is such a mover, and I don't think he is slowing down anytime soon.
