Our first broken bone at this house. Sunday morning, Jackson was being the monkey that he is and was climbing behind Kenny while he sat in the office chair. Apparently he thought he could sit on the back of the chair and wham! he fell backward. I got home from a meeting and he tells me of the incident and that he hurt his wrist. I told him we could wrap it in a bandage to make it feel better. He liked that idea. Fast forward to Tuesday, Still complaining about his wrist and does not want to take off the little brace Kenny brought him home from work. So I decided I might as well take him to to doc and make sure it's okay. Sure enough, the x-ray shows a buckle fracture. Crazy! The whole time he had a broken arm and was playing around and only complaining at certain times. He was so brave while the doctor put the cast on, and while getting his x-rays.
He said it would be okay to go to the doctor as long as he didn't get a shot. I assured him there would be no shots. So now we have the new blue member of the family for 4 weeks when a new x-ray will be taken to make sure his bone has healed. Ahhh.... boys.

Poor Jack! He's quite a tough kid to hardly even complain! Wow. Hopefully the month will go fast. =)

Poor guy. I love that huge grin on his face! He seems pretty proud of it! :)
