In case you were wondering

This is what happens when you try and get on the computer and let your baby have floor time.Apparently they all want in on the action. (Can you tell that Jackson dressed himself? It's a long sleeved snowmobile shirt with shorts, slightly out of season)

A Name and a Blessing...

What a perfect day! Bryson was blessed yesterday by his daddy. He did such a wonderful job, and I am very grateful to have such a great hubby, who loves his boys so much.
Here are some pics of the cutie in white. All three of them have been blessed in the same outfit, which makes that little, simple, white piece of material extra special.

The cake. Everybody asked what kind of cake it was. The title, Darn Good Chocolate Cake, and I must say, it was darn good! If you are lucky, I might share the recipe ( ;
The cupcakes. The little kids couldn't keep their eyes off. Or fingers.
Bryson slept the whole time. And I wasn't about to wake him for a picture.

So, I am not what you would call a "testimony barer". I have one, I just don't bare it for some reason. I cannot even remember the last time I stood in sacrament and bore my testimony. So whether you want to hear it or not, I am going to blog it. It would be selfish of me to not share my feelings from yesterday. I felt completely blessed sitting there on the bench with my two boys, and my other two boys at the front of the church. Everything just seemed so...perfect. Surrounded by family, my wonderful parents and parent-in-laws, and friends. I am very grateful to have been born into the church and be raised in the gospel with the standards that my parents set for me. It's almost like you instantly get a 'move ahead 5 spaces card.' A jump start in the right and direction, and then you choose to either follow that direction or turn around and go the other way. The truth that many people search and search for, was handed to me the minute I was born. At times I feel inadequate, that it should be a lot harder than this. We all have trials in our life, but even through trials it is always the gospel and love from my
Heavenly Father that comforts and gives me the strength to overcome it. I am thankful that Heavenly Father has intrusted me to raise his children. I feel lucky that I was chosen to be their mother. I hope that I can raise them so they are close to their Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and that they can love them and respect them the way their daddy does. I don't think our family would be half as happy if we didn't have the church in our lives. It gives direction and guidance that I would feel lost without. It all just makes sense. The blessing of having a forever family is one that I cherish deeply, I can't imagine going from this life to the next and having them not there. My family is my everything. My boys make me want to be a better person, they help remind me that I am an example to them and they follow where ever I lead. If I want them to make good choices, then I too must make good choices and live my life worthy of being in our Heavenly Father's presence. I know that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ and that our Prophet, President Monson is the true prophet. I know with all my heart that this is where I am supposed to be right now, this is what I am supposed to be doing, And I wouldn't have it any other way.

I can't keep up!

We have had a lot going on, but for some reason I can't keep up on bloggin lately. Anybody have any ideas of what that reason is? What? A new baby? Oh, I guess that could be it. Anyway, here is a recap.

We hit a parade. Jackson wouldn't let Landon step past the gutter, he was following the rules of not going in the street very well, even though we told him to go in the road. The same city had a brand new fire station that was having an open house.

We went to the new splash pad in South Ogden with a bunch of friends. The kids had a good time, and best of all, it was free! They need to put these at every park.

Jackson rode his new bike (more about that later) in the stake primary Pioneer Day parade. Isn't my little pioneer a cutie?

We went up to Island Park Idaho for a family reunion, where apperently Landon decided to eat sticks.

My boys and papa Hansen, or as Landon says, Bapa. They idolize that man.

Everyone in my extended family got to hear my little fuss pants all weekend. Of course they all probably have extra sympathy for me now, right.

Here is my cute neice Savanna.

And my cute grandpa that was such a trooper to come all the way up there! He will be 90 this fall.

We did get a family picture with everyone but I I don't have it yet. It was the best turnout, we were only missing 10 people out of 72. This is actually our first picture of all five of us, it still looks strange to me to see five people instead of four.

So now you are all filled in. I will try to update more often but don't get all huffy if I don't!

Bryson's Announcements

Just wanted to share some pics of Bryson and his announcement. I had plans for a lot more pictures but his patience ran out and I was losing my light. Oh well, at least I got a few cute ones.

Memoirs of A Maegan

A few of my buddies are doing this and I thought it was a cute idea.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

EVERYBODY PLAY! I want to see what memories are out there!

One month later

Bryson is 1 month old today. Wow! It is crazy how someone that has been with you for such a short time can seem like they have been with you forever. But at the same time, I can't believe it has been a month. I have already forgotten what it was like without him. I can sit and just stare at him and I am amazed every time. It really is a complete miracle, from his old man hair-do down to his long little toes. The boys just adore him, and I love watching them interact with each other. My house may be a mess, and I may only get a shower every 3 or 4 days, and not get dressed till noon, but I love my little Bry guy and wouldn't have it any other way!

I have this picture of Jackson sitting up in the couch on his one month birthday, so I took one with Landon too, and now I am adding Bryson to the tradition. Not the best picture, but it's fun to compare the three.

Bryson

Landon

JacksonI would say he is a mix of the two, what do you think?

Camping Weekend

We went up Logan canyon camping for the fourth. The kids had a blast, and it was a good little break.

I call this 'blue steel'
A quick attempt to get a pic of all three. Notice, Jackson's zipper is down, and yes that is a gun that Landon is so happily pointing into his mouth. Our cute little trailer, which we seem to be outgrowing already, and the reason for the SUV instead of a minivan.

Landon, doing what he does best, eating.

I had to test out my dad's new bike that my grandpa gave him for father's day. Sweet ride.

Kenny and Jack went fourwheeling, They were some dirty, dirty boys when they got back!

So of course we had to head over to Bear Lake so they could wash off.

That's my cousin's twin boys with Jackson.

We had a such a good time, Thanks everyone! And Bryson did fantastic, you hardly knew he was there!
