All the Christmas stuff...

I figure I better get some of this posted before it's Christmas 2009. One of the things we wanted to do this year was stay home for Christmas, and this we did. Although, even if we wanted to go somewhere, the weather Probably would have stopped us. Actually, it did stop us from going to Idaho the day after Christmas. So now we get to stretch Christmas into this weekend while we celebrate with Kenny's family.
My parents and my brother and his family came down Christmas Eve to our house. The kids got spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa. And the Aquadoodle from Austin and Savanna was a huge hit.

Buddies. Yes they may fight sometiems, but I have a feeling these two will be buddies for a long time.
Bryson slept through most of the party, but when he woke up he really enjoyed the ribbons. (notice the death grip)
The older boys got snow clothes, but since Landon is the victim of hand-me-downs, he got a new helmet instead. He was so excited.
Grandma got them all matching pj's. Savanna really stands out in this picture doesn't she?
Christmas morning Santa definately found us. Jackson got something a little extra this year. He woke up at 2:30 coughing, throwing up, and fevering. He hardly ever gets sick, and it was a complete bummer to be sick on Christmas. We had to practically force him to be excited about presents. So for the next three days he was fevering off and on and had completely lost his voice. (it was really quiet around here)

Bryson was in awe watching his brothers tear open packages.
Jackson and his loot.
Bryson got a few things too.
Landon hit the jackpot.

And the aftermath.
Kenny got me ones of these puppies
A speedlight for my camera. Yeah!! Of course now I have to learn how to use it.

And Kenny and I got one of these from Santa
I haven't seen much of it, as Kenny has been filling it up with songs, pictures, and video, but I hope to be able to use it at some point.

Bryson got an extra Christmas present too, a couple days ago his huge lump in his mouth finally turned into a tooth! Of course the next lump is growing so I have a feeling his screaming nights will continue.
I hope you all had a fabulous one and that you enjoyed time with your families.

Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! I love this time of year when we get together with family and remember the importance of having Christ in our lives. (And the food ain't so bad either.)

6 months

Bryson was officially 6 months last Wednesday,  but we finally made it to the doctor today.  Here's the stats
Weight- 16 lbs. 1 oz (18%)
Height -26 inch (25%)
Head-17 1/2 in (66%) ( I think we may have another big headed child)
He got three shots, which he handled very well.  So far I don't think it has affected him much, he's as happy as ever.
Amazingly he has slept through the night the last three nights!  Hallelujah!!  Hoping he continues the trend and doesn't go back to his old ways.
So far, no teeth.
He smiles at anyone that looks at him, and he loves to laugh at his brothers.
He loves his food.
He can sit for a very brief moment by himself, but he would rather be doing this...
One of the nice things about the kids is that only two of them move.  One more to chase around?
Let's hope he just sticks to the rocking for awhile.

It's bizarre how fast it seems he is growing.  He is so much fun, and we can't wait to celebrate the holiday's with one more added to our family.

Be All You Can Be

Jackson informed me that he wanted an Army party. And he just wanted his cousins there. So that is what we did!
The invites

All geared up waiting for the guests.

There was a battle on the tables,

And a battle on the cake.

This cake was really fun to do. I was all prepared to be asked to make a tank cake or something, but Jack said he wanted toys on it. Okay, toys it is.

And I even attempted to make the inside camo too. Since I couldn't cut into it before the party to see if it worked I was a little scared it wasn't gonna turn out. But, I must say it looked pretty cool.

He had some help, and I am pretty sure we were spit free.
A few of the presents
And the one that got chosen to go to bed with him...

All I wanted was a picture of all three in their camo before the night was over.
This is what I got.
Thank you everyone for coming and for the gifts. Jackson had a lot of fun and we appreciate you sharing his birthday with us! We missed all of Kenny's family :( The snowy roads prevented them from coming. Darn weather. Now I must clean the shelves so there is room for all the new toys.

...we welcomed our very first sweet baby boy into our family.

Jackson is such a fun kid. He is so sweet to everyone and is always thinking of others. He has had to grow up pretty fast to be the big brother twice, but he is a trooper and loves his little brothers. He is my little helper. A few things Jackson likes right now:

Transformers (thank his father for this one)
Army
Guns (I know, I know)
School
Superheros of any sort
Ever since before he was one, he has had an attraction to anything with wheels. That still holds true.
And of course he has become quite the daddy's boy. That's okay though, he still gives me hugs and kisses.

Stay tuned for his party pictures tomorrow!

We love you buddy!!!

Happy 4th Birthday!

Homeboys

Jackson makes me turn on the "breakdancing music" and then they make sure they have their hats on and backwards. Pure entertainment.

Trip Down South

Kenny had some vacation to use up before the end of the year so we made an impromptu visit to St. George. We stayed with Dani and her cute familiy, one of my best friends from high school. It was so good to spend time with her. The weather was perfect and the kids had a lot of fun.
We went to Jumpin Jacks, a big huge building just full of slides and bouncy things. Jackson was in heaven. Although it is extremely blurry, I love his expression in this pic.

Landon we slightly freaked out by the whole thing. We did finally get him to go on a slide with daddy.
Dani's cute Abby. I am sure she felt a little invaded by boys last week.
The babies played too.
Landon's time at their house was spent with this. He loved that doll house. What a proud moment for Kenny :)
And one morning he slept till like 10 am. It must have been the pink flowery bedding. (thanks for your bed Abby)
We also went swimming. We were the only ones there for a while, which made it very nice.

Lovin' the water.

Landon, 0nce again, very hesitant.
We got him to sit in the kiddy pool, and he wouldn't move. Of course when he did decide to move, I had turned my back for minute to hold Chase while Dani took Abby potty and he fell in the big pool. After the lifeguard jumped in to save him and pull him out of the water, I gave myself the Best Mommy of the Year Award.

And some of cute litte Chase. You should see that kid in the water. He loves it.
Thanks Dani and Ashton for letting us totally take over your house. We had so much fun. You are welcome here any time!
