Happy Mother's Day!

I hope all you ladies have had as wonderful of a day as I have! When I finally dragged myself out of bed this morning I came into the family room to sit by Jackson, who was watching a show. The first thing he says is,"Mommy, can I have one of your chocolate strawberries?" "What?" I had no idea what he was talking about. So I glanced into the kitchen to find this!

My sweet husband had gotten up and dipped strawberries for me! No sir, didn't buy them, but dipped them himself! I was, and still am, very impressed. He even had some extra chocolate, and being very creative, he dipped some orange slices, yum! Anything dipped in chocolate is fine by me! There to the side is some root beer float popcorn, and some yummy smelling candles! I am so lucky to have such a great man in my life, one that loves me and appreciates me and who is an awesome role model to these two little ones. I love you Honey, Thank you for letting me feel like the luckiest mom in the world!

Today at church I even got to go to Relief Society! It's been a long time! The young men and women took over the primary for the last half. It was so nice to have a little spiritual uplift.

I am so very thankful for the mother's in my life. My wonderful mother, and the caring person that you are. You are amazing! And I am so glad that you are my mom, you are the perfect example to me of what a mother should be and I only hope that I can reach that level someday!

My mom-in-law. Thank you for taking me in as one of your own, and making me always feel like a daughter. Thank you for raising my fabulous husband, and helping him become the father that he is. You are so great to our boys and I appreciate everything you do for them and for us as a family.

A friend of mine sent this to me and I couldn't resist sharing it. It just really put motherhood into perspective for me. Blame it on the hormones, but I cried.

So, Happy Mom's Day to all you mother's and mother's to be. It is truly a role I wouldn't give up, regardless of all the emotions, struggles, poopy diapers, crying babies, tantrum toddlers, and sassy three year olds. My boys are the highlight of my life. Last weekend while being away, I realized just how empty my heart would be without them. I only hope that I can be the mom that they deserve.

Wow, my brother got up early? Well, he does have a sweet and devoted wife. And I am glad he is now better with creatvity and details. I'm sure you have rubbed off on him.

Very sweet message to your mom, and our mom. They will probably have the water works.
