Bryson's ONE!!!

Excuse my absence, I won't make excuses though, I will just carry on with my post.
My little baby is one today! Happy Birthday buddy, we love you so much and you are the perfect addition to our family!
Bryson is a busy boy, he loves to follow his brothers around and play what ever they are playing. His new thing is climbing on everything he can climb. Here are his one year stats.
Weight: 21 lbs. 7 oz. (30%)
height: 29 1/2 inches (40%)
Head: 18.7 (80%) looks like he is following the trend of the Stark noggin.
We are having his little party on Sunday so if I don't slack off, pictures will follow.

Iron Girl!!!

This last weekend I completed my first Triathlon down in Vegas. It was awesome! I went with one of my friends down the street and we stayed at the Monte Lago which was right on the Lake Las Vegas. There was a total of 8 of us that stayed there. We had a lot of fun and met new friends! This was the night before, when we were supposed to be in bed but instead we got these lovely tattoos from one of those little machines at Albertsons. We were trying to get pumped up, and I was trying to not throw up!

The girls in my ward. Great friends! Brandi, Me, Jamie, and Kim. (They all did this last year)

Brandi helped me so much to prepare for this, she is so amazing and beautiful! I can't thank her enough for putting up with me. We had many early mornings and late nights training.

Just about ready to start! Aren't we sexy?
Taking the plunge!
Finished the swim! This was my most emotional moment.
Heading out for my bike.
Our fan club caught the back of me finishing the bike.
And almost to the finish line!
Kenny was there to support me 100%, video camera and all.
My pretty new medal. I'm an Iron Girl!
Me, Katt, and Brandi.
It was such a great experience. Very empowering, exciting, emotional and one of the most thrilling things I have ever done. It felt so good to be able to accomplish something for me. The swim was 1/2 mile, 10 mile bike, and 5k (or 3.1 mile) run. My goal was to be under 2 hours, and my final overall time was 1 hour 53 min. So, I was pleased with that. There was a total of 529 women and that put me in 260th, right in the middle. I was pretty surprised with my run split. 31:23 which put me at 74th out of 529. So the challenge is out there for anyone who wants to do it with me next year!

What? It's broken?!

Our first broken bone at this house. Sunday morning, Jackson was being the monkey that he is and was climbing behind Kenny while he sat in the office chair. Apparently he thought he could sit on the back of the chair and wham! he fell backward. I got home from a meeting and he tells me of the incident and that he hurt his wrist. I told him we could wrap it in a bandage to make it feel better. He liked that idea. Fast forward to Tuesday, Still complaining about his wrist and does not want to take off the little brace Kenny brought him home from work. So I decided I might as well take him to to doc and make sure it's okay. Sure enough, the x-ray shows a buckle fracture. Crazy! The whole time he had a broken arm and was playing around and only complaining at certain times.
He was so brave while the doctor put the cast on, and while getting his x-rays.
He said it would be okay to go to the doctor as long as he didn't get a shot. I assured him there would be no shots. So now we have the new blue member of the family for 4 weeks when a new x-ray will be taken to make sure his bone has healed. Ahhh.... boys.

Patty Cake!

Bryson has officially learned patty cake, and he loves it. He will be just sitting in the middle of the floor playing, and start clapping. Don't you just love his grin at the end. Jackson always makes him grin. Please excuse my annoying voice.

On a side note, new pictures at my other blog <----

Birthdays, Sledding, Haircuts and randomness

I'll try to throw this all into one post. Things are busy around here. I am just very ready for sicknesses to be gone, and to have sunshine!! Isn't this weather wonderful!
Kenny celebrated his 32nd Birthday on March 4, so the boys and I went to visit him at work and take him a cake.

That weekend we went up Logan Canyon sledding with some of my cousin's kids. Jackson had a blast on the tube. He did not want to stop. What a good sport my cousin Ryan is on the bottom.

Tuesday Bryson got his first haircut! He doesn't have much but it was out of control. I did this on purpose but this is pretty much what it looked like every time he woke up.
Not amused.
All done! What a cutie! Thanks Grandma!
And here is the randomness. I got a new backdrop a couple weeks ago so I had to hurry and try it out. Here are my willing participants. I snagged Jack from playing if you couldn't tell.
